Cepea, June 4 2019 – The harvesting of the second crop corn is advancing in the main producing regions from Brazil and perspectives indicate that supply in the current season may be a record, reaching 110 thousand tons (initial inventories + production + imports). Still, corn prices increased in most Brazilian regions surveyed by Cepea in May.
The boost came from the retraction of sellers, who are aware of the faster exports pace and the possible increase in the amounts sold to the international market in the coming months
