Cepea, April 20, 2022 – The supply of hydrous and anhydrous ethanol was low in São Paulo State in the first fortnight of April. Besides the low number of plants processing sugarcane from the 2022/23 season, rains hampered the harvesting and, consequently, limited ethanol production.
As for purchasers, agents from some distributors were interested in closing deals in that period, influenced by the holidays in April (Good Friday on the 15th and Day of Tiradentes on the 21st)
