Cepea, August 5 2019 – The consecutive price rises for hydrous ethanol and the slight price drops for crystal sugar in São Paulo State reduced the advantage of sugar against ethanol in late July. According to Cepea calculation, between July 22 and 26, sugar remunerated 9% more than hydrous ethanol did – against 16% in the previous week. Compared to anhydrous ethanol, crystal sugar remunerated 7% more – against 11% in the previous week
