Cepea, June 16 – Soybean prices increased in Brazil in the first fortnight of June, pushed up by firm demand and retraction of growers, who are waiting to trade larger batches next semester. Besides, dollar at higher levels than Real, increases of the exportation premium in Brazil, and unfavorable weather conditions for sowing in the United States (which increased prices of future contracts at the Chicago Board of Trade) helped to push up quotes as well.
The ESALQ/BM&FBovespa soybean Index at Paranaguá port increased 2
