Cepea, September 18 – A significant volume of hydrous ethanol was traded in the market of São Paulo State in the second week of September. The boost came from higher demand, in both São Paulo and other states from central-southern Brazil, as distributors needed to plan for sales increase observed during holidays – September 7 was a national holiday in Brazil (Independence Day).
Thus, between September 11 and 15, the CEPEA/ESALQ Index for hydrous ethanol averaged 1
