Volume traded in early June is the smallest in the current crop; prices drop

Cepea, June 19 2019 – Quotes for hydrous and anhydrous ethanol dropped in São Paulo State in the first fortnight of June, reflecting low demand – there were less agents from distributors in the market than the expected. Supply, on the other hand, was high, which helped to press down ethanol quotes. The trading pace was slow too, and the amount of hydrous ethanol marketed in the first week of the month was the smallest since the week starting March 8 2019
