Cepea, March 17, 2021 – The supply of tahiti lime, which was low in São Paulo State (SP) in the first week of March, resumed growing in the second week of the month, due to the harvesting of the fruits from the second flowering. According to agents consulted by Cepea, the development of this crop was satisfactory, due to the high moisture earlier in the year, which is resulting in fruits within the quality standards demanded by the segment.
The citrus farmers from SP believe that the harvesting of this crop will step up in the coming weeks, since the current maturation stage of the fruits allows them to stay longer on tree
