Cepea, November 5 2018 – CATTLE – Fed cattle arroba prices, which were rising in October (boosted by the low supply of animals for slaughter and high beef exports), were decreasing by the end of the month. Price drops, in turn, were linked to the larger amount of animals from feedlot and the slight retraction of purchasers, who were less active in the market, only receiving batches previously acquired.
On the other hand, beef quotes rose in October, reflecting the fast exports pace during the month, which helped to lower the domestic beef supply
