Cepea, November 21 2018 – Fed cattle prices decreased in Brazil in the first fortnight of November. According to agents consulted by Cepea, slaughter facilities increased pressure on quotes, due to their longer slaughter scales, which, in turn, were possible because animal supply increased and larger batches were purchased at higher price levels at the end of October.
Still, some deals were closed at higher prices in the first half of November, limiting sharper price drops
