In four weeks, hydrous prices rise more than 9% in BR; traded volume is the 2nd largest in the series

Cepea October 18 2018 – As the end of crushing approaches in some of the refineries from São Paulo State, and as ethanol sales have been firm at pumps, the price paid to hydrous ethanol producers from SP has increased sharply in the Brazilian spot market. In the last four weeks, the CEPEA/ESALQ Index for hydrous ethanol rose 9.44% (or 16 cents per liter)
