Cepea, October 2 2018 – Wheat harvesting is advancing in Brazil, but uncertainties related to both productivity and the output have led purchasers to focus on international wheat prices – Brazil depends on importations to meet domestic demands. Strong US dollar, however, has limited the volume acquired from the international market. Thus, Brazilian purchases have been analyzing importation costs, focusing on acquisitions in the domestic market
