Cepea, February 19 2019 – With the recent price rises for hydrous ethanol in Brazil, the biofuel started to remunerate more than anhydrous ethanol – between Feb. 11 and 15, the advantage of hydrous ethanol over anhydrous was at 2%, according to Cepea calculations. This is the first time hydrous remunerates more than anhydrous in the 2018/19 crop – this scenario was last observed in late March 2018 (2017/18 season), at 3%
