High demand pushes up Index by 4.1% in the first fortnight of October

Cepea, October 17, 2017 – Corn prices increased in the first fortnight of October in most regions surveyed by Cepea. The boost is linked to the higher number of purchasers in the market. Besides, the fast exportations pace and lower supply estimates released by Conab for the 2017/18 summer crop pushed up quotes in that period as well
