Cepea, March 3 – Despite the off-season period, crystal sugar prices dropped in the spot market of São Paulo State in February. Purchasers were retracted, trading small batches, since they still had inventories and were receiving sugar through contracts. The international demand for sugar, in turn, was higher, pushing up premiums for Icumsa 150 crystal traded in the Brazilian market
