Cepea, April 4, 2022 – In the last official week of the 2021/22 season (March 28 – April 1st), the average price for crystal sugar continued to rise in the spot market of São Paulo State (SP). Although demand did not increase, values were underpinned by the low stock of crystal sugar (type Icumsa up to 180) at sugar mills. Most of this sugar is being allocated to trades through contracts, reducing supply in the spot market
