Cattle valuations raise purchase power of finishers in BR

CATTLE – The frequent valuations of fed cattle in the first quarter of 2022 added to the price drops of calves (8 – 12 months old) and lean cattle brought some relief to finishers in Brazil.

This scenario has narrowed the exchange ratio between fed cattle and calves/lean cattle, which, in March, was the most favorable to finishers in two years.
