CATTLE – Fed cattle prices remained firm in Brazil in February, underpinned by both high international demand for the Brazilian beef and low supply of slaughter cattle. Data released by the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) confirmed the scenario.
According to the IBGE, the number of cattle slaughtered in 2021 was the lowest in 17 years
