Average prices are expected to be higher this season; values skyrocket in BR in March

Cepea, March 17, 2022 – The monthly average prices for hydrous and anhydrous ethanol have dropped in the spot market of São Paulo State (SP) in the current offseason, which is not expected, since supply is usually low at this time of the year. Demand is usually lower in the offseason too, which pressed down hydrous ethanol quotations in December/21, January/22 and February/22, by 15%, 2.7% and 10%, respectively
