Cepea, December 2, 2021 – The demand for crystal sugar decreased in the spot market of São Paulo State (SP) in late November, which may be a reflex of both previous sales and the fact that many purchasers were still receiving the product previously purchased. Besides, these agents were not willing to pay higher prices, despite the low supply of crystal sugar, majorly of the Icumsa 150 type.
Still, considering the whole month, prices increased, underpinned by the low supply in the current season (2021/22)
