Cepea, November 18, 2021 – The wheat harvesting is nearing the end in Brazil, and official estimates for the world and the Brazilian outputs released in the second week of November were revised down.
In Brazil, Conab (Brazil’s National Company for Food Supply) revised down productivity estimates in several states, majorly in Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul. In global terms, the USDA revised down production estimates too, which may reduce ending stocks in the 2021/22 season to the lowest level since 2015/16
