Cepea, May 17 2019 – With the stability of crystal sugar prices in the spot market of São Paulo State and the frequent devaluations for hydrous and anhydrous ethanol, the exchange ratio between these products has become even more advantageous for sugar.
According to Cepea calculations, between May 6 and 10, crystal sugar remunerated 39% more than hydrous ethanol did, against 34% in the previous week (April 29 to May 3). As for anhydrous ethanol, sugar remunerated 23% more, against 20% in the week between April 29 and May 3
