Cepea, March 19 2019 – After rising for five consecutive weeks, ethanol quotes dropped in the market of São Paulo State in the week between March 11 and 15, despite the nearness of the 2019/20 season.
Pressure came from lower demand. Distributors were only purchasing small volumes, since they still have to withdraw ethanol from some refineries, while others are still working with the product in stock – it is worth to mention that the amount purchased in February was a record
