Cepea, December 4 2018 – Despite the three Brazilian holidays in November (All Souls’ Day, on the 2nd; Republic Proclamation Day, on the 15th; and Zumbi dos Palmares, on the 20th), and the nearness of the 2018/19 season, distributors’ interest for ethanol was lower during the month, since many of them had already acquired the product. At refineries, needs of cash flow and room to stock the new product led them to increase the amounts supplied. Besides, the recent price drops for gasoline A at refineries led some of them to anticipate ethanol sales
