Cepea, August 17 2018 – Prices for anhydrous and hydrous ethanol dropped in Brazil in the first fortnight of August, reflecting the fast pace of sugarcane crushing in the 2018/19 crop, the anticipation of activities this year and a larger amount of raw material allocated to ethanol production. Besides, refineries need to make room in tanks, contributing for the price drops.
