Cepea, October 17, 2017 – Domestic prices of wheat flower dropped in the first fortnight of October, pressed down mainly by the low wheat prices in the 2017/18 crop. Besides, agents have reported that higher wheat supply in Paraná has limited price rises of wheat flour in Rio Grande do Sul. In the wheat bran market, on the other hand, quotes continue to rise (at a slower pace), underpinned by low supply and competitiveness with corn, whose prices have been increasing
