Cepea, October 17, 2017 – Prices of soybean and its by-products increased in Brazil in the first fortnight of October. The rises are linked to irregular rains in Brazil (which concerned regarding sowing advances), recent rains in the United States (which interrupted harvesting), firm global demand and the retraction of Brazilian and international growers from trading large batches, due to uncertainties regarding the crop size and price behavior in the coming months.
