Cepea, August 17 – Despite the nearness of the wheat harvesting in Brazil, prices have reached the highest levels in the year, in real terms, in some regions surveyed by Cepea. That scenario was due to the absence of sellers in the Brazilian market and, mainly, to forecasts for an even smaller area allocated to wheat in Brazil.
Data from Conab (National Company for Food Supply) released on August 10 indicate that the area allocated to wheat this year should keep at 1
