Cepea, May 16, 2017 – The volume of rains, which had been hampering the sugarcane harvesting in the current 2017/18 season in São Paulo State, was smaller in the first fortnight of May and helped to normalize production at mills. Liquidity resumed increasing and trades involving larger volumes of crystal sugar Icumsa 180 above were observed in the spot market.
